Transferring folds from the shoulder to the neckline

This transformation moves the folds of the basic pattern from the shoulder to the shoulder blade. The lower folds are not altered. To start, copy the base pattern from the shoulder to the waistline.

Step 1

Draw the new cutting line.

Step 2

Rotate light green part of the pattern to the right until the shoulder dart disappears completely. We are left with a horizontal fold across the shoulder blade.
