Girls Dress Basic Pattern Calculator - 3-10 Years

Learning how to make your own pattern has never been easier! If you want to become a true pattern maker without spending a lot of money on beginners sewing courses then you are in the right place. Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or not, my 'Girls Dress Block Calculator', complete with step-by-step instructions and a detailed drawing will help ensure your quick success.
Age group for the pattern 3-6 years old (98-116cm) and 7-10 years old (122-140cm).

Instructions for using the pattern calculator:
* Add your measurements in the yellow cells from the "MEASUREMENTS" tab. The basic measurements needed for the pattern should be made by using the sketch from the same sheet and the measurement code (ex. A, B, C, etc.)
* Press button "Calculate"
* In the "RESULTS/INSTRUCTIONS" tab, the dimensions for the blocks will be computed automatically.
By following the steps from "RESULTS/INSTRUCTIONS" and the drawing you will be easily able to make your own pattern. Good luck!

		B. Classic Dress
		Copy the bodice block separatly and mark points W, W1, N7, B2, W2.
		Square down from points W, W2 and W1.
W-F	38.0	Square right from point F and mark points F2 and F1.
W-H	13.5	Square right from point H (hip line) and mark point H1.
		Back
F2-1	5.0	Connect points W2 and 1.
W2-F21	38.0	Draw a curved bottom line between points F and F21.
		Bend the line B2-W2 0.75 cm twoards the inside of the block.
		Front
F2-2	5.0	Connect points W2 and 2.
W2-F7	38.0
F1-F11	1.0	Draw a curved bottom line between points F11 and F7.
W1-W11	1.0	Connect points W11 and W2 with a curve.
		Usualy the little girls have a large stomachs so it is required an extra fullness in the front block.
		Square down from point N7 and mark point 3. Cut the pattern along this line and rotate left side 3-4 distance.
3-4	2.5	Redraw the new contour as is shown in the drawing.
