Creaseses on the Button-Line

Creseses on the button line

As you can see, all the folds of the base pattern disappear and a new, creased area, appears close to the button or zip line, depending on the chosen closing method. This pattern is also the first one which is not symmetrical, meaning you won't be able to work on just one half and mirror it for the other.
To begin, copy the base pattern from the shoulder to the waistline.

Step 1

The first strep is just the outline of the base pattern.

Step 2

Creseses on the button line - faze2

Rotate the pink part of the pattern towards the left, around the point where the 2 folds would meet and split the midle part of the part in two pieces like in the image.

Step 3

Creseses on the button line - faze3

Rotate the two parts toward the right part of the pttern, around the meeting point of the 2 right darts, until the original darts disappear.

The final pattern

Creseses on the button line - faze5

As you can see, the right piece does not have a horizontal fold in the middle, the fold resulting from the rotation of the two pieces should not be cut out. That extra piece of material will form the creases.
