Transferring folds from the shoulder to the side

As shown in the pattern, the shoulder folds disappear and reappear lower down, to the sides. The lower folds remain unchanged. To begin, copy the basic pattern (from the shoulder to the waste line).

Step 1

Cut the right prt of the pattern as in the imge.

Step 2

Rotate the pink part of the pattern towards the left, around the point where the 2 folds would meet.

To overcome that the ends of the folds do not touch each other, the cuts can be made shorter by 1-2cm.
