Classic Girls Trouser Pattern

Learning how to make your own pattern has never been easier! If you want to become a true pattern maker without spending a lot of money on beginners sewing courses then you are in the right place. Buying or downloading a free baby pattern never offers you the perfect pattern for your body. Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or not, my 'Classic Girl's Trouser Block', complete with step-by-step instructions and a detailed drawing will help ensure your quick success.
The girl's trousers pattern calculator can be used for 3 age groups 3-6 years old (92-116cm tall), 7-10 years old (122-140cm tall) and 11-14 years old (146-164cm tall).
The girl's trouser block allows you to create any designs you want.
This girl's trouser block can be used starting from 98 cm height. Under this height use the baby trouser block which has a special ease allowance to accommodate nappies. Girls under 116 cm have a larger belly and do not require a dart in the front section of the trouser. This front-back proportion is systematically reduced as the size is increased. For girls with developing figures it may be useful to use a pattern with more waist shaping.
Note:
1 - the waistline of the trouser should always be eased onto waistband.
2 - the top of the waistband of the basic trouser block for girls sits on the waistline.
Fabric recommendations: any fabric you want.

Instructions for using the pattern calculator:
* Add your measurements in the yellow cells from the "MEASUREMENTS" tab. The basic measurements needed for the pattern should be made by using the sketch from the same sheet and the measurement code (ex. A, B, C, etc.)
* Press button "Calculate"
* In the "RESULTS/INSTRUCTIONS" tab, the dimensions for the blocks will be computed automatically.
By following the steps from "RESULTS/INSTRUCTIONS" and the drawing you will be easily able to make your own pattern. Good luck!
